First Day of School Pictures!

I took a bunch of pictures of Treyton's first day - I will try to limit them to just a few. You know how I am about that, though! Hope I don't bore you too badly!

Yesterday was his second day and his teacher told him that he was the "goodest" kid all day. Way to make a mommy proud!! 8-) He is absolutely LOVING this so far!

YAY!!!

I try to keep my blog free from controversial or confrontational things, but I would just like to brag on our Indians! They are incredible!! Love them.

They made a TRIPLE PLAY last night in their game against the Twins. It was only the second triple play for the indians since the year I was born - which was 1981.

Grady Sizemore

Sizemore, Cleveland

I'm pretty sure that it is all because of Grady - although he actually didn't have anything to do with the triple play. 8-) I'm pretty sure that he has a lot to do with them being in first place right now though!

And, yes, he did make that catch in that first picture - however, it was not in the game last night!! And, yes, we did win the game last night.

GO, INDIANS!!!

Kindergarten Orientation

Here are a few pics of Treyton's Orientation yesterday. It was cool getting to tour the building there and see where he will be. Love his teacher - forgot to take a pic of her! How crazy!!!

He has mentioned several times today that he can't wait till Monday. He doesn't appear to be nervous at all. I'm not nervous - maybe apprehensive...excited...anxious. Does that all add up to nervous?? 8-)

Here he is - as the day gets closer it is dawning on me that he is actually still just the little...er...big baby that I had 4 years ago topping the scale at just over 9 pounds! The only difference is about 37 more pounds and about 27 more inches. Oh, well, I guess there are 4 years in there, too!

Standing in line waiting for his bus ride. All the way up - near the front. White stripes on sleeves.

Getting off the bus.

His classroom - there are 4 Kindergarten classrooms - roughly 20-25 in each.

I'm back - at least for this post...

Here are a few pics of Jackson while he was at the hospital for his surgery. Sorry I have been missing for so long.

At home - opening a gift to help us through the day!

Waiting...

(Throwing "Graham" as hard as we could)

This girl was incredible. Loved her. She was explaining everything to him.

Last few minutes together before surgery.

Crying for Mommy.

First time we saw him post-surgery. Recovery Room #1.

Recovery Room #2. We were able to hold him here.

If he could eat this pop-sicle and keep it down then he could go home....They didn't know who they were talking to. This kid could eat anything!! 8-)

We're doing good...

Jackson is coming along just fine. He sometimes still cries and says he hurts, but for the most part he is up and around. Which is much quicker than they had thought. He has been so incredibly patient through the whole thing and many times has tried to encourage me instead of wanting help for himself! 8-)

I do have lots of pictures from the hospital but to be honest I still have not even downloaded them onto my computer - way weird for me since I normally do that as soon as I get home from the event.

Thanks to all of you who have prayed for him - I know that is why he is as good as he is.

More update later and probably some pictures, too.

Love to all!
